This February, our team had the privilege of participating in Paris Packaging Week 2026, the premier gathering for the global packaging industry in the heart of Paris. Marking the event's 25th anniversary, this edition was more than a celebration; it was a profound dialogue on innovation, aesthetics, and responsibility. As explorers and practitioners of packaging solutions, the POMALL team returned with a wealth of inspiration, having witnessed the industry's vibrant pulse and co-created a new blueprint for the future of packaging with partners from around the world.

Witnessing the Pulse of the Industry

Immersed in the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, we deeply felt the profound transformation sweeping across the industry. Amidst the 25th-anniversary celebrations, the concept of "Chic & Conscious" emerged as the dominant theme.

 

From the "skinification" trends in cosmetics packaging (PCD) and the excellent exploration of glass craftsmanship in premium beverage packaging (PLD), to the ingenious interpretation of "zero packaging" concepts in luxury packaging (Packaging Première), every booth and every conversation sparked with innovation. We were delighted to see that sustainability is no longer an add-on, but the core driver of design, material, and process innovation. Achieving excellent environmental responsibility while maintaining luxurious aesthetics has become the industry consensus for 2026.

 

Gleaning Insights from Intellectual Exchange

During the show, we actively participated in numerous high-level industry forums and seminars. In-depth exchanges with designers, brand owners, and technical experts from around the world gave us a clearer understanding of the market opportunities and challenges under new regulations like the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Discussions on mono-material solutions, lightweighting, and intelligent dispensing systems, in particular, provided invaluable guidance for our future product development and strategic planning.
